Some tourist advice please

Postby dabac » Thu Oct 01, 2009 11:19 am

Hi guys,

I'll be heading for the US fairly soon, and have some time for some touristy stuff. Basically I have a week in which to go from N.Y. to NH and back to N.Y.
I've had a look at Boston and Plymoth Rock ona previous visit, but surely there are more sites worthy a stop along the way?

Any suggestions appreciated.

I'm not familiar with that area being a Californian. The only things I can think of are the Erie Canal, Fort Ticonderoga (famous Revolutionary War site) and West Point military Academy, all in New York I believe. In New Hampshire there are the White Mountains which I have heard have the fiercest winds in the Country.

- MIT museum and Museum of Science in Cambridge, MA.
- White Mountain and Mt Washington in NH.
- The Freedom Trail in Boston, MA.
- Plimoth Plantation, MA.

A village with actors pretending to be Colonial-days settlers.
