You may have been redirected here from the old 'HowWhatWhy' forums - this message is intended to orientate you and explain why you may not be seeing what you were expecting to see.

The old forums and server have been retired, this is due to many reasons but predominantly age and maintainability. The old forum lives on as a static archive, but you will no longer be able to post there.

Your user account from the old forum has not been transferred and you will therefore need to re-register in order to post as a user. You can register an account for free by visiting the registration page. You will be sent an email which you need to respond to in order to confirm your registration.

Guests are welcome to post but will need to complete a 'captcha'. Guests posts will also not be visible on the forum until approved by a moderator. We therefore encourage you to register as you will benefit from the ability to subscribe to threads, have the server track what you've read, not to mention allowing you to become part of our community!
