One of those things that if you have got it - what it is doesn't matter - your going to die. If you haven't got it - You don't want it.

Lets hope no terrorist organisation ever gets round to bacterial warfare.

It is a virus pathogen that infects vertebrates.
There are a variety of different species not all of which are medically significant to humans.
I want to remember reading that two varieties have greatly affected some gorilla and chimpanzee populations in central Africa.
They cause a hemorrhagic fever disease that affects the lining of blood vessels in a manner which allows the blood to leak out into the surrounding tissues and body cavities.
