I like the way it folds up but to be honest it doesn't look as practical as those electric scooters that are already available (the aluminium ones designed like children's scooters, rather than the moped type).
On two occasions I have been asked, "Pray, Mr. Babbage, if you put into the machine wrong figures, will the right answers come out?" I am not able rightly to apprehend the kind of confusion of ideas that could provoke such a question.

Yikes! I looked around for a price and only saw the 100€ deposit, I didn't find the full retail cost anywhere. 3900€ buys a lot of cheap mountain bikes even if a few get stolen.

1) They show people avoiding traffic by riding between the lanes of parked cars. Not only is that dangerous, but if you get caught, it's a nice ticket.

2) The never mention how heavy it is (at least that I can see)

3) 9-10 km on a charge is not very far. I guess it *might* get you from house to train from train to job and back again - or maybe it will strand you :)


However, the woman that sings that song in the video is pretty cute (nice smile) so they have that going for it :)

I like Segways, but they really serve a seperate purpose than this YikeBike. You are not going to take a Segway on a train or bus like you could a YikeBike.

Your legs also get suprisingly tired when riding a Segway. I have used them a number of times. Like most other transportation solutions, they have their applications. I think they would be great for suburban mail delivery. I am surprised they dont use them around here.
